Mike Tyson is being sued – wanted for a huge sum after the Netflix match

Not only that Mike Tyson lost the super match against Jake Paul.

Now he is also being sued.

At 17 million kroner.

Last month, retired world champion Mike Tyson made a comeback in the boxing ring against YouTuber Jake Paul.

In front of over 100 million viewers, the 58-year-old lost the super event to the 27-year-old on points. In total, Tyson landed only 18 punches on his opponent.

But the disappointment doesn’t end there. Now Tyson is being sued for breaching a sponsorship agreement, reports talksport.

“Hasty and illegal dismissal”
The Cypriot company “Media”, which markets betting companies, is now suing Mike Tyson and his company Tyrannic.

The company claims that they had an agreement with the boxer and that he would promote a betting company before the match.

But there was no marketing from the boxer’s side. The reason must have been a schedule clash with another collaboration.

  • The real reason for Tyson and Tyrannic’s hasty and illegal termination was that Tyson had entered into an agreement, sponsored by Netflix, to fight the influencer Jake Paul, says the company’s lawyer.

Sued for SEK 17,000,000
Due to the alleged breach of contract, the company is said to have lost a large amount, for which they are now suing him.

The sum should be almost 1.6 million dollars, which corresponds to roughly 17 million Swedish kronor.

Mike Tyson and his company Tyrannic have yet to comment on the allegations.
